Presentation title: Underwater acoustic sensor network--from theory to practice
Abstract: The underwater acoustic sensor network is one of the popular research topics in recent years. Due to the physical characteristics of sound waves in the water and the uniqueness of the underwater environment, underwater acoustic communication and networking are facing many new challenges, such as low communication bandwidth, long and dynamic propagation delay, high attenuation, high bit error rate, multipath effect, serious Doppler dispersion, dynamic link quality, node mobility, difficulty in energy supply, etc. These characteristics affect the design of almost every module in the layered structure of the underwater acoustic sensor network. The report will introduce the application, challenges, research status and future research directions of underwater acoustic sensor networks. |
